Armand Diarbekirian, Founding Partner |
|
As a Founding Partner, Armand combines his trademark quick wit, a formal education and wealth of business experience in helping other business owners in dealing with the overlapping challenges of Business, Family and Wealth.
After working and managing restaurants throughout Manhattan, Armand eventually opened his own Deli-style restaurant in Queens, N.Y. At the age of 26, where he gained first hand experience in what it takes to run one’s own business. Always being ahead of the curve, he converted it into a Sports Deli and successfully transitioned out of the food industry into the financial services industry, where he quickly climbed the corporate ladder. He received numerous sales and management awards and earned accolades due to his penchant for a completely client-centric team approach.
As a Managing Director he was in charge of the New England Agency with offices in Vermont, Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts. Armand was charged with increasing revenue by 130% each year. Because of these accomplishments, two years later he was promoted to Regional Director in charge of the entire Northeast territory from New York State down to Washington, DC. It this role he was responsible for developing, training and motivating Sales Managers.
Long before the current crisis, Armand realized that the financial industry could benefit from a different approach. In 2004, he assembled a strong team of experts and founded MetroWest Financial Partners, LLC now a subsidiary of MetroWest Business Advisors, LLC. Armand and his firm specialize in Business and Wealth Engineering for family owned businesses. He developed a holistic and contemporary process to re-establish positive results based on new strategies.
Early on, Armand decided to volunteer and provide his leadership and financial expertise to his business, industry and community life. He serves on several business, community and industry board of directors. In 2009 the firm was recognized as the “Business of the Year” by Corridor Nine Chamber of Commerce. In January 2010 Armand was awarded “Business Person of the Year” by Middlesex West Chamber of Commerce.
